Create and manage promotions
Build a promo, choose eligible products and channels, set usage limits, and understand its live status.
1. Set up the offer
- 1
Open Catalog → Promos and choose Create New Promo.
- 2
Enter a customer-facing name and a unique promo code.
- 3
Choose percentage or fixed amount and enter the discount value.
- 4
Select specific eligible activities, or leave the list empty to apply the promo to every eligible activity.
Leave the field empty only when the business truly intends the promo to work across every eligible activity.
2. Add booking and redemption rules
- Booking cut-off controls the last date the code can be entered.
- Redemption dates control when the booked activity may occur.
- Selected weekdays and times narrow redemption to specific sessions.
- The park timezone is used for every date and time comparison.
3. Choose real sales channels
Only select channels enabled for the active park. Typical supported channels are Point of sale and Online checkout; unavailable kiosk or park-manager channels should not be offered.
- When the channel rule is off, the promo can be used in every supported channel.
- When it is on, at least one available channel must be selected.
4. Set usage limits
- Per code limits the total uses of that promo code.
- Per customer limits repeat use by the same customer.
- Per booking rules limit how many discounted items can be included in one checkout.
- Allow multiple uses only when the offer is designed to stack inside the same booking.
Read promo status
The promo list should display a readable Active, Scheduled, Expired, or Inactive status together with its expiry date. A numeric status value is not customer- or staff-friendly.
