Set up and verify an email sending domain
Add a sending subdomain, copy its DNS records correctly, and understand verification status.
Choose a sending subdomain
Use a subdomain such as email.example.com instead of the root domain used by your main website. This separates marketing reputation from normal business mail while keeping your brand recognizable.
Your organization configures the domain once. Movira then uses the verified domain for approved senders in that workspace.
Copy the DNS records
- 1
Open CRM → Settings → Email Setting → Dedicated Domain and add your sending subdomain.
- 2
Open DNS records and copy each record type, Host / Name, and Required value / Target into your DNS provider.
- 3
Movira shows a copy-ready Host / Name and the full DNS name for reference. Use the copy-ready value unless your provider explicitly asks for the full name.
- 4
Keep CNAME and mail records set to DNS only; disable proxying, masking, or flattening for these records.
- 5
Save every record and wait for DNS propagation.
What the records mean
- SPF authorizes the sending service for the domain.
- DKIM records verify the message signature.
- MAIL FROM records route bounces and align the return path.
- DMARC tells receiving providers how to evaluate domain alignment and where aggregate reports go.
Verify the setup
- 1
Return to the DNS records dialog and choose Verify records.
- 2
Review each record status instead of relying only on the overall badge.
- 3
If every row is OK but the overall status is still pending, allow time for the sending provider to finish domain verification and check again.
- 4
After the domain becomes verified, review Domain Warmup before sending a large campaign.
Propagation time depends on the DNS provider and existing TTL. Repeatedly deleting and recreating correct records usually delays troubleshooting.
